The first time I heard about chibi, I was pretty young, in kindergarten or primary classes and I was looking at Sailor Moon. Chibiusa is a very well-known character among the anime fans and the first chibi seen by me until then. Some years later, with the desire to draw large and bright eyes, sympathetic figures created to bring smiles and joy, the chibi version of me was born.
What are chibs, exactly? Well, Wikipedia describes the term chibi as a small stature person and is most commonly used in anime and / or manga. The very common attribute of this chibi is the cuteness in which the character is presented. The basic shape of a chibi is round, plump tiny figure and the proportions differ from artist to artist and case by case. The word is pronounced "cibi": D.
So chibs are not cartoons and even less portraits, but only characters that have certain characteristics and elements defining that person. Generally, the shape of the chibi is plump (hence the cuteness), round, has large eyes and quite often, proportions very different from the real anatomical ones. This being said, I will let you enjoy the gallery.

For the moment these cuties are delivered only in Romania. The only orders I can ship outside of Romania are the ones delivered by the owner or personally, by me. Given the fact that these illustrations are original, hand painted, I can't deliver them without trusting the delivery service. So far I didn't have any luck with any service I found. Hope for the best in the future tho'.
